Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals create a balance of 3 social, economic and environmental dimensions. The balance results in meeting the needs for future generations without compromising the needs of the current generation. In implementing the SDGs, cooperation of all actors, government and society is needed. The Provincial Government of South Sumatra in the implementation of sustainable development based on the Regional Action Plan of South Sumatra Province. The research focuses on the process of implementing a sustainable environment and Goal 15 of the Land Ecosystem of South Sumatra Province. The method used is descriptive qualitative with primary data through interviews with the Environment Agency, Forestry Service, and Bappeda of South Sumatra Province and uses secondary data through literature studies and documentation studies. The research uses the theory of international regime implementation by Anderson which is divided into 5 stages of international regime implementation, regime ratification, regime transformation, government programs, effectiveness, and community response. The results of research on global sustainable development regimes produced the document Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Presidential Regulation No. 59 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, means that Indonesia participates in achieving global action . The Province of South Sumatra issued Governor Regulation No. 3 of 2020 concerning the Regional Action Plan for the Sustainable Development Goals of South Sumatra Province for 2019-2023. Social forest programs that embrace communities by providing community access to forest management. Protection and security of forest areas, restoration and rehabilitation of forest areas aim to improve forest areas with green cover. PROPER which is a program to assess the company's compliance with the environment. The involvement and cooperation of actors in running the program will affect the results of the achievement of the SDGs. Communities in the program made by the South Sumatra Provincial government provide a good response by supporting programs that provide a positive side to the community.
