Abstract

This undergraduate final paper (Skripsi) is entitled THE LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY OF MINING COMPANISE TO REPAIR THE DEMAGED ROADS DUE TO THE TRANSPORTATION OF MINING PRODUCTS. This paper discusses the regulation and the impilimntation of mining company’s legal responsibility for road damages caused by the activity of transporting mining products and how to fulfill the rights granted by mining companies to the community. This study use normative research methods of library law research (Library / Documentary Research) and uses a statutory approach. The results of this study indicate that there are still unclear regulations implemented by the government to mining comopanies for the activity of transporting mining products and accountability and fulfillment of rights by the mining companies because they have used public roads as a means of transportating their mining productts. Based on the research results, it is recommended that local governments reformulate specific regulations regarding the transportation of mining products and impose strict a coordinations between companies and local government so that the rights of the cimmunities living around the mining area can be fulfilled.
