Abstract

The purpose of this study was to dete1mine the effect of motivation for discipline employees which working al PT.Tractor Nusantara Palembang. The writing of this essay the author uses data analysis with quantitative met hods, that the data can be calcu lated in the form of figures obtained through a questionnaire sludy of the respondents or employees it se lf, and consists of primary data and secondary data.The model of results summary predictors (constant) motivation is seen where by the value of r is also called the correlation coefficient is 0,461 means that the correlation coefficient is marked (+) positive means to have a relationship that is being unidirectional. Rated R square (R2) is 0,212 means that the influence of work motivation for work disc ip line by 21,2%. The better motivation which is owned by an employee it w ill be reflected on the employee discipline. good work must be based on good motivation anyway. onversely, if the employee motivation is not well established it will culminate in work carelessly,and may threaten the achievement of organiational goals, therefore, it is expected especially PT.Tractor Nusantara Palembang still provide motivation to employees in improving work discipline.
