Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of asset structure, capital structure and sales growth on profitability in non-Cyclical Consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research method used is a quantitative method. The data used in this research is secondary data. The population and sample used in this study are companies in the non-Cyclical Consumer sector registered since 2019 in the 2019-2021 period. The analytical tool in this research is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the asset structure variable has a negative and significant effect on the company's profitability as evidenced by the negative coefficient value of -0.11 and the probability value of 0.025. The capital structure variable has a negative and significant effect on the company's profitability as evidenced by the negative coefficient value of -0.01 and the probability value of 0. The sales growth variable has a positive but insignificant effect on profitability as evidenced by the coefficient value of 0.105 and the probability value of 0.828.
