Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) determine the effect of member participation on the success of cooperative efforts, (2) analyze the effect of service quality on the success of cooperative business, (3) analyze the effect of member participation and service quality together on the success of cooperative efforts. This research was conducted in Muliasari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The method used in this research is the survey method and the sampling method using simple random sampling with a population of 1200 and a sample of 100 respondents. Data processing uses descriptive percentage analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that (1) based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that member participation is included in the high category with a frequency of 45,59%, service quality includes in the high category with a frequency of 40,28% and the success of the cooperative is included in the very high category with a frequency of 37,95%, (2) there is a positive and significant effect of member participation variables on the success variable of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative. This is evidenced by the results of the regression coefficient (r) of the member participation variable of 0.372 with a t-value of 6.476 and a significance of 0.000, (3) there is a positive and significant effect of the service quality variable on the success variable of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT Cooperative Cooperative. This is evidenced by the results of the regression coefficient (r) of the service variable of 0.217 with a t-value of 2.387 and a significance of 0.019, (4) there is a positive and significant influence jointly from the member participation variable and service quality on the success variable of the Trans Mekar Sari Mandiri BMT cooperative. This is evidenced by the f value of 29.892 at a significance of 0.000, (5) the value of the effective contribution of member participation to the success of the cooperative is 31.25% and the effective contribution of service quality to member participation is 6.75%.
