Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku bullying ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan status sosial ekonomi siswa kelas VIII SMP N. 4 Palembang. Hipotesis ada perbedaan perilaku bullying antara siswa kelas VIII laki-laki dan perempuan siswa SMP N. 4 Palembang, dan ada perbedaan perilaku bullying antara siswa kelas VIII dengan status sosial ekonomi tinggi, sedang, rendah di SMP N. 4 Palembang. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N. 4 Palembang. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling purposive. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala perilaku bullying. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Independent-Sample T Test dan uji One Way Anova. Hasil hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku bullying antara siswa kelas VIH laki-laki dan perempuan siswa SMP N. 4 Palembang dengan nilai p = 0,339 (p>0,05). Hasil hipotesis juga menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan perilaku bullying antara siswa kelas VIII dengan status sosial ekonomi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah di SMP N. 4 Palembang dengan nilai F = 1,141 dan p = 0,322. Dengan demikian hipotesis ditolak. Kata Kunci: Perilaku bullying, jenis kelamin, status sosial ekonomi
