Abstract

This research is entitled “Implementation of Household Natural Gas Network Installation Program in Palembang City (Case Study at PT.SP2J). The background of this research is that the target customer at PT.SP2J in the program for installing a household natural gas network does not achieve the target customer, there are still many people who do not know about the existence of a household natural gas network, and the length of installation of a household natural gas network in the community, as well as the meter. Natural gas that is not in accordance with the amount of community use in using the natural gas network. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the household natural gas network installation program in the city of Palembang, namely at PT. SP2J. This study uses a qualitative approach using descriptive, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. In this study using the theory of George C. Edward III, namely the theory of policy implementation. The results of this study found that the implementation of the natural gas network installation program had not been maximized, in the sub-aspects of communication, resources, facilities, bureaucratic structures but in the disposition aspect it had run optimally. Researchers provide suggestions that the socialization provided by PT.SP2J needs to involve the community so that people know about the existence of a natural gas network, and additional staff should be added so that the handling given to the community can run quickly. Also, it is better to pay more attention to the stock of materials for the installation of natural gas networks. Keywords: Implementation, Installation Program, Natural Gas Network
