Abstract

The welfare of farmers is the ultimate goal of the development process of a region. Income and expenditure are indicators of the achievement of prosperity in the household, including robusta coffee farming households. The purpose of this study was 1) to analyze the household income of robusta coffee farmers in Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatera. 2) analyze the household expenditure of robusta coffee farmers in Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatera. 3) analyze the level of household welfare of Robusta coffee farmers in Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra. This research was conducted in Pagar Dewa Village, Lengkiti Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatera Province from August 2022 to November 2022. The method used in this study is a survey method. The results of this study indicate that the household economic income of robusta coffee farmers in Pagar Dewa Village is an overall average of Rp. 52,805.276 which is very high. The household expenditure of robusta coffee farmers in Pagar Dewa Village, the overall average economy of Rp34,689,086 is classified as moderate. The level of household welfare of robusta coffee farmers in Pagar Dewa Village, which is seen from 7 indicators including population, health and nutrition, employment, consumption, housing, social and culture, shows that the level of welfare of farmer households in Pagar Dewa Village, Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Regency the average people are prosperous.
