Abstract

Pendahuluan. Brakiterapi adalah salah satu metode pengobatan radiasi kanker ginekologi yang dapat secara selektif memberikan dosis radiasi ke jaringan kanker dengan meminimalkan paparan radiasi terhadap organ didekatnya. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya brakiterapi menimbulkan rasa sakit dan ketidaknyamanan bagi pasien. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran skor nyeri dan komplikasi yang terjadi pada pasien kanker ginekologi yang menjalani brakiterapi dengan anestesi spinal di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif observasional. Data yang diperoleh merupakan data primer yang diperoleh dari pasien kanker ginekologi yang menjalani prosedur brakiterapi di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang pada periode Oktober hingga November 2022 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Hasil. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi adalah 18 subjek. Rata-rata skor nyeri sebelum brakiterapi adalah 0,78, pada saat pemasangan aplikator adalah 0, pada saat penyinaran sebesar 0,28, lalu pada saat pelepasan aplikator adalah sebesar 0,11, dan sebesar 1,33 pasca prosedur brakiterapi. Komplikasi yang paling sering terjadi adalah nyeri punggung (27,8%) dan sulit BAK (27,8%). Kesimpulan. Rata-rata skor nyeri paling tinggi adalah pada pasca prosedur brakiterapi. komplikasi yang paling sering terjadi adalah nyeri punggung dan sulit BAK.
