Abstract

This study aims to produce a product of Powerpoint-Based Picture Story Media in the Sub-theme of Types of Class IV Work that is valid and practical. This study uses the Research and Development model with 3 stages of the ADDIE development procedure namely Analysis, Design, and Development. This study validated the learning materials, materials and media and conducted trials on small groups of 5 students and trials on large groups of 8 students in class IV. The results of the validation assessment from the media expert validator get a percentage value of 75% and are categorized as valid. The results of the assessment of the material expert validator got a percentage value of 78% and were categorized as valid and the results of the teacher validator got a percentage value of 100% and were categorized as very valid. Field trials of the results of students' assessment of the media get a percentage value of 89% for small groups and 95% for large groups and are categorized as very practical. Based on these results it can be concluded that PowerPoint-based picture story media is valid and practical to use in the learning process.
