Abstract

One of the corn production centers in Banyuasin Regency is Tanjung Lago District. Corn production and land area in tanjung lago sub-district have increased every year. Banyu Urip is one of the villages in Tanjung Lago. This research was conducted to (1) analyze and describe the corn supply chain in Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) Analyze and describe the income corn farmers in Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, (3) Analyze and describe about the factors that affect corn production in Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. The method used in this research is a survey method. Determination of the sample was done randomly so that 30 corn farmers were obtained. The data used in this study were sourced from primary and secondary data. The results of the research stated that (1) The corn supply chain in Banyu Urip Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency has been running well through one main stream, namely through producers collectors traders consumers. The flow of products through two systems, namely delivered and delivered, financial flows are carried out in cash and transfers, the flow of information includes demand and supply. (2) The average income of corn farmers in Banyu Urip Village is Rp31.535.022,- per growing season and Rp7.883.755 Per Mouth. (3) Factors that have a positive effect on corn production in Banyu Urip Village are labor, land area of urea fertilizer, SP36 fertilizer and pesticides, but area of urea fertilizer, SP36 fertilizer and pesticides does not have a significant effect. The factors that have a negative effect are NPK fertilizers but not significant.
