Abstract

Retinoblastoma merupakan tumor ganas mata yang sering terjadi pada anak-anak dengan usia di bawah 5 tahun. Retinoblastoma dapat dideteksi awal dengan mengenali tanda khas bintik putih pada hitam bola mata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien retinoblastoma di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Tahun 2019-2021. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif observasional dengan desain studi potong lintang. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa rekam medis seluruh pasien yang terdiagnosis retinoblastoma di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang periode Januari 2019 hingga Desember 2021 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan kriteria eksklusi dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rentang usia terbanyak adalah kelompok usia 1-<3 tahun (45%) dan mayoritas adalah perempuan (55%). Mayoritas pasien dengan pekerjaan ayah sebagai karyawan swasta (40%) dan ibu sebagai ibu rumah tangga (85%). Mayoritas pasien tinggal di luar daerah Palembang (85%) dengan riwayat kelahiran bayi aterm (95%) dan lateralisasi terbanyak ditemukan pada mata kiri (40%). Gambaran klinis ditemukan leukokoria (95%), strabismus (5%), proptosis (25%), mata merah (30%), dan kelainan visus (10%). Gambaran histopatologi ditemukan fleurette/rosettes (5%), flexner-wintersteiner rosettes (35%), dan homer-wright rosette (40%). Kejadian retinoblastoma di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang tahun 2019-2021 terbanyak pada tahun 2021 (40%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa usia terbanyak adalah kelompok usia 1-<3 tahun, mayoritas pasien perempuan, mayoritas pasien memiliki ayah yang bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta dan ibu sebagai ibu rumah tangga, mayoritas pasien tinggal di luar Palembang. Riwayat kelahiran bayi mayoritas aterm, serta lateralisasi terbanyak pada mata kiri. Gambaran klinis terbanyak ditemukan adalah leukokoria. Gambaran histopatologi terbanyak ditemukan adalah homer-wright rosettes.
