Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan stres ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Sriwijaya. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan stres ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir tahun angkatan 2013 sebanyak 1000 orang. Sampel yang dipergunakan sebanyak 258 orang dengan teknik insidental sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala stres dan skala kepribadian. Analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan independent t-test. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan stres ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian, dimana p = 0,545 (p>0,05). Artinya tidak ada perbedaan stres antara kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert, dengan demikian hipotesis ditolak. Kata Kunci: Stres, Kepribadian
