Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan metil merkaptan kapasitas 50.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2023 di Balikpapan, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 8 Ha. Proses pembuatan metil merkaptan menggunakan reaktor tipe multi tubular fixed bed. Pabrik pembuatan metil merkaptan ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang pimpinannya adalah Direktur Utama. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan pabrik sebanyak 186 orang. Pabrik pembuatan Metil Merkaptan layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan parameter analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: a) Biaya Investasi = US $ 182,069,654.68 b)Hasil penjualan per tahun = US $ 500,000,000.00 c)Biaya produksi per tahun = US $ 298.981.544,48 d)Laba bersih per tahun = US $ 140.712.918,86 e)Pay Out time = 1,07 tahun f)Rate of return on investment = 77,29 % g)Discounted Cash Flow –ROR = 84,5 % h)Break Even Point = 38,37 % i)Service Life = 11 tahun
