Abstract
This study aimed to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving learning outcomes of students on the theme of Energy and Its Change in Grade III of SD Negeri 95 Palembang. The method of this study was Classroom Action Reasearch, which consist of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The result showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes of students. It can be seen from the learning completeness of students, start from the 1st cycle with a percentage of 52,6%, in the 2nd cycle it increased by 68,4%, and in the 3rd cycle it increased by 84,2%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Grade III students of SD Negeri 95 Palembang on the theme of Energy and Its Change.
