Abstract

The issuance of the statute of passage in the agreement to buy and sell housing still exists that violates the provisions of Article 18 of Law Number 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection. This results in the consumer feeling disadvantaged, because the parties to the business do not know the terms and conditions of the book. The research methods used in this study are using normative legal research supported by an adequate fact through the interview. The purpose of this research is to know that the consensus of the law of the bill in the sale agreement for housing that harms the consumers in the perspective of the law. The results of the research show that in the housing purchase agreement which contains the prohibited terms of the law, the Consumer Protection Act is declared null and void by law or is assumed to be non-permanent, where the consumer can return to business, where non-permanent transactions can be returned.
