Abstract

This study aims to increase students' learning motivation and to be enthusiastic about participating in information services in guidance and counseling services. This research is a type of research and development (R&D). The data collection technique used is a scale. The population in this study were 68 students, namely students of class X IPS 1, 2 and 3 at SMAN 10 Indralaya. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 14 students whose learning motivation was in the low category obtained through the results of the pretest scores. The procedure for this development research went through several stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Based on the results of the data in the independent simple t test results table, it shows that the t value is 17.96, which means that there is influence from the provision of Learning Motivation Animation Video media. And the significance value or Sig.(2-tailed) is 0.000 which is lower than 0.05. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected because Sig.(2 tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. H0 is declared rejected, then H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference between the results of the test before and after using the Animation Learning Motivation Video media and the Learning Motivation Animation Video media are effective in increasing the learning motivation of class X students of SMAN 10 Indralaya.
