Abstract

A pre-experiment design was used in this quantitative research which was intended to identify the profile of multicultural values self-efficacy among class XI of SMA Negeri 22 Palembang and to ascertain the effect of using real case examples in basic services on multicultural values self-efficacy. Survey method was used for data collection, and questionnaires containing statements that have been classified according to the indicators of multicultural values self-efficacy aspects were distributed to respondents. Reliability and validity tests were conducted on the instrument. Normality test, homogeneity test, and paired sample test were the three types of data analysis techniques used. Statistical analysis of the data revealed that the resulting sig. value was sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05. As a result, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, indicating that there is a correlation between the use of real-life case examples in basic services on increasing self-efficacy of multicultural values. Keywords : Cases, Self-efficacy Multicultural Values, High School Student Desain pra-eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini yang dimaksudkan untuk mengidentifikasikan profil efikasi diri nilai-nilai multikultural di kalangan kelas XI SMA Negeri 22 Palembang dan untuk memastikan pengaruh penggunaan contoh nyata kasus dalam layanan dasar terhadap efikasi diri nilai-nilai multikultural. Metode survei dipergunakan sebagai pengumpulan data, dan kuesioner yang berisi pernyataan-pernyataan yang telah diklasifikasikan sesuai dengan indikator-indikator aspek efikasi diri nilai-nilai multikultural dibagikan kepada responden. Pengujian reliabilitas dan validitas dilakukan terhadap instrumen. Uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji sample berpasangan adalah tiga jenis teknik analisis data yang dipakai. Analisis statistik data mengungkapkan bahwa nilai sig. yang dihasilkan adalah sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05. Sebagai hasilnya, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, menunjukkan kalau terdapat korelasi antara penggunaan contoh-contoh nyata kasus dalam layanan dasar terhadap meningkatnya efikasi diri nilai-nilai multikultural.
