Abstract

Efikasi diri dalam fleksibilitas multikultural mengacu pada kapasitas seseorang untuk beradaptasi dengan berbagai konteks budaya. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk melihat profil efikasi diri fleksibilitas multikultural siswa dari masing-masing aspek efikasi diri multikultural dan gender, serta dampak layanan dasar berbasis kasus terhadap efikasi diri fleksibilitas multikultural siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. Penelitian metode kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain Pra-eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Untuk memenuhi tujuan tersebut, 425 siswa SMA Negeri 2 Palembang dari tahun akademik 2022-2023 membentuk populasi penelitian ini, dimana sampel 36 siswa dipilih menggunakan pemilihan cluster random sampling. Instrumen kuesioner skala efikasi diri fleksibilitas multikultural akan digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Uji t, uji homogenitas, dan uji normalitas merupakan pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) Dengan menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan dengan temuan 0,01<0,05, dapat ditunjukkan bahwa menggunakan kasus dalam layanan dasar bimbingan dan konseling dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri seseorang dalam kemampuan beradaptasi antarbudaya. (2) Total efikasi diri siswa laki-laki dalam kemampuan beradaptasi antarbudaya adalah 50%, yang dianggap berada pada tingkat sedang. Namun, di antara siswa perempuan, profil efikasi diri untuk kemampuan beradaptasi antarbudaya sangat tinggi, yaitu 37,5%. (3) Dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 63,9%, ditemukan bahwa layanan dasar bimbingan dan konseling, yaitu layanan klasikal berbasis kasus, cukup berhasil dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa dalam kemampuan beradaptasi antarbudaya. Self-efficacy in multicultural flexibility refers to one's capacity to adapt to various cultural contexts. This research seeks to see the profile of students' multicultural flexibility self-efficacy from each aspect of multicultural self-efficacy and gender, as well as the impact of basic case-based services on students' multicultural flexibility self-efficacy at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. This quantitative method research used a Pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. To fulfill the purpose, 425 students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang from the academic year 2022-2023 formed the population of this study, where a sample of 36 students was selected using cluster random sampling. The multicultural flexibility self-efficacy scale questionnaire instrument will be used as the data collection method. The t-test, homogeneity test, and normality test were the data analysis approaches used. The findings revealed that: (1) By using paired sample t test with a finding of 0.01<0.05, it can be shown that using cases in basic guidance and counseling services can increase one's self-efficacy in intercultural adaptability. (2) The total self-efficacy of male students in intercultural adaptability is 50%, which is considered to be at a moderate level. However, among female students, the self-efficacy profile for intercultural adaptability was very high, at 37.5%. (3) With an N-Gain score of 63.9%, it was found that the basic guidance and counseling service, namely the case-based classical service, was quite successful in improving students' self-efficacy in intercultural adaptability.
