Abstract

The purpose of this study is monitoring the quality of agricultural land to get real time data about changes in air temperature, air humidity, air pressure, soil moisture in agricultural land. The benefits gained from making this farmland quality monitoring tool are easier for farmers to monitor lebak farmland, helping farmers to get real time data about the condition of their farmland. Assist agricultural land in making appropriate and accurate decisions. To design this tool we need software and hardware that supports it, such as Arduino IDE, Capacitive Soil Moisture, DHT11, BME280, ESP32+LORA, Wemos lolin, and ThingSpeak which function as tools for sending and receiving messages. The results of the research that have been done, it can be concluded that the temperature sensor has an average error of 1.610% with an average ThingSpeak accuracy of 98.90%. the DHT11 sensor has a wider relative error range of 17% in temperature measurements, and 11.35% in humidity measurements. The BME280 sensor can measure relative humidity from 0 to 100% with an accuracy of ± 3%, barometic pressure from 300Pa to 1100hPa with absolute accuracy of ±1 hPa, and at temperatures from -40°C to 85°C with an accuracy of 1.0°C. The difference in measurement locations inside and outside, and the platfroms used both AVR and Arduino do not affect the measurement results.
