Abstract

This study aims to identify aspects of dance development for children aged (5-6) years at KB Al Fatih, Banyuasin Regency. The type of research used in research conducted by researchers is descriptive quantitative. 10 children in class Abdullah Bin Muhammad group B (2) became the population in this study, the research sample used by the researcher used simple random sampling (simple) which means taking some of the population of 10 children. Data collection is done through observation and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study, the value obtained with the details on each movement flexibility indicator obtained a value of 80%, the movement balance indicator obtained a value of 82.5%, the movement imitating indicator obtained a value of 90%, the movement agility indicator obtained a value of 87.5%, the movement synchronization indicator obtained a value of 90 %, the accuracy indicator on the movement gets a value of 82.5% and the appreciation indicator gets a value of 80%. It can be categorized as aspects of the development of dance arts for children aged (5-6) years at the Al Fatih KB, Banyuasin Regency, which are in the Very Good Development (BSB) criteria with a percentage of 87.64%.
