Abstract

This research is entitled " Patterns Of Tenure And Form Of Utilization Of Lebak Swamp Land In Ulak Aurstanding Village South Pemulutan Ogan Ilir". The purpose of this study was to identify the pattern of tenure of the Lebak swamp land and the form of utilization of the Lebak swamp land in the Ulak Aurstanding Village of South Pemulutan Ogan Ilir. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Determination of informants in this study using purposive. Types and sources of data obtained through primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with 13 informants, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of tenure of the Lebak swamp land in Ulak Aurstanding Village consists of two patterns, namely ownership and non-ownership where the pattern of community ownership has land originating from inheritance and buying and selling, while the non-ownership pattern is rent, pawn, and share. results. Lebak swamp land in Ulak Aurstanding Village is used to be used as rice field land, but because in one year the community can only plant rice once, the community uses the land to grow vegetables such as corn, cassava, beans, chili, eggplant and others. The land use process that still uses traditional and natural methods requires a lot of energy, so many people employ farm laborers to assist in the sowing, planting, and harvesting processes Key Words: Pattern Of Tenure, Land Use, Lebak Swamp
