Abstract

CV Natural is a company engaged in the manufacture of carpets or mats from abaca (Abaca Fiber) and wood banana fiber. CV Natural always supplies raw materials, produces goods, and sends them to costumers. This is related to controlling inventory. Previously, CV Natural had implemented SCM (Supply Chain Management) but there were several problems in it, namely the difficulty in determining the minimum stock of each item that must be fulfilled, determining the time of reorder, and determining the number of goods ordered accordingly, as well as loss of raw materials. The best solution for analyzing inventory is using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. This method can be used to determine inventory order quantities that minimize storage and ordering costs. With this system, the company can guarantee the inventory and smooth flow of raw materials and find out the optimal needs of each raw material, reorder point, and safety stock value
