Abstract

Penetitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan subjek penelitian ini adalah 22 peserta didik kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 26 Palembang. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan representasi model matematika untuk topik SPLDV kelas VIII dengan menggunakan pendekatan pemodelan matematika melalui media pembelajaran berbantuan ICT Nearpod. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pembelajran pemodelan matematika dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan ICT Nearpod yang mampu memberikan konstribusi terhadap kemampuan representasi model matematika peserta didik SMP Negeri 26 Palembang. Hasil pencapaian kemampuan representasi model matematika peserta didik kelas VIII dengan rata-rata 72,5% yang dikategorikan baik. Peserta didik lebih tertarik dan antusias dalam menggunakan pembelajaran pemodelan matematika menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan ICT Nearpod.
