Abstract

Palembang city is a currently developing city, where it continues to carry out development from various sectors, one of them is from the housing sector. Making housing selections is not an easy task because some developers offer a variety of houses from various criteria, which makes consumers a little confused to decide. Therefore consumers must know better and be careful when choosing a house that fits their criteria. The purpose of this study is to help customers make choices. So, a decision support system is built using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Preference Ranking Organization for Enrichment Evaluation (Promethee) method. In its application, the AHP method is used to obtain the criteria weight, and then the Promethee method is used to determine the priority order of prospective customers. The criteria carried out in this study are price, location, facilities, population, licensing and legality of the developer. The obtained result is housing ranks that matches the criteria.
