Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA literasi sains pada pengetahuan konten fisik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.5 SMP Negeri 19 Palembang yang berjumlah 25 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar soal PISA dengan materi suhu dan kalor yang terdiiri dari 12 pertanyaan. Pada penelitian ini, pencapaian kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA dilihat dari level soal yang peserta didik kerjakan. Hasil jawaban peserta didik tertinggi pada soal level 4 yaitu 40% dan untuk soal level 2 dan 5 tidak ada peserta didik yang dapat menjawab dengan benar. Hal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa kemampuan tingkat berpikir peserta didik masih tergolong rendah.
