Abstract
Smart Room that is smartly designed to make it easier for its users to carry out activities. An example of using Smart Room on electronic devices, namely lights, the lights in the room of the house were previously turned on manually by pressing the button on the switch, and to check the electric current they still use the manual method using a multimeter, now with the smart room the lights can be turned on automatically and also the user can find out how much current is issued when the light is on or in use. In this study, the authors aim to develop and implement a lighting system design in a smart room using the Internet of Things-based Blynk remote control . The smart room is made with NodeMCU ESP8266 components, Arduino Nano, three lights, relays, three PIR sensors, and three ACS712 Current sensors. The results of this study can turn on the lights automatically and can calculate how much current is issued by each lamp, and the use of lights in this smart room can be controlled and viewed using the Blynk application on a smartphone.
