Abstract

Overload is a condition vehicle carrier payload exceeding the transport limit to load that has determined . Whereas Over Dimension is a provision where size vehicle no corresponding with criteria suit factory ( modification ) . Road section to Sp. Kolim – Sp. The original Watchtower 33 is road owned by company , however has legalized Becomes road special . this way is pavement heap land with a length of 25,000 meters and a width walk 10 meters. Research method this using the 1993 AASHTO Method (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) and the PCA (Portland Cement Association) method . The aim of this research is for look for know method results thick pavement which one can count burden vehicle excess and yield ratio cost with price benchmark local . The results of the 1993 AASHTO method analysis get thick plate of 30 cm, lc of 10 cm, and the thickness of the foundation layer lower aggregate class A by 15cm. For results PCA method analysis was obtained thick plate by 26 cm, lc by 10 cm, and thick Foundation lower by 15 cm. The difference is also determined on the shoulder of the road used between second method namely the 1993 AASHTO Method, on the shoulder of the road used heap above it coated with expanse aggregate class S, so calculated costs _ from RAB ( Draft Budget Cost ) is obtained Rp . 194,571,409,790.-. While the shoulder of the road used in the PCA (Portland Cement Association) method is a concrete shoulder with spokes , so that in the calculation of the RAB ( Draft Budget Cost ) produce cost Rp . 213.160.559.011,- . After the data is analyzed AASHTO 1993 method is capable count burden vehicle excess or ODOL (Over Dimension Over Load) .
