Data analysis was used the Chi-square test. Results There is statistically significant association between smoking with total cholesterol levels with p value=0,001 (P<0,05; OR: 6,750). Respondents with high total cholesterol levels were 38%, with 33% smokers and 5% non-smokers. Meanwhile 62% respondents had normal total cholesterol levels, composed by 31% each of smokers and non-smokers.
