Abstract

Introduction: Low self-esteem is a persistent feeling of worthlessness, insignificance and inferiority that results from negative evaluations of oneself and one's abilities, and is often accompanied by a lack of self-care. Patients with low self-esteem have negative feelings towards themselves so they don't want to hang out with other people, with cognitive therapy patients are encouraged to think positively that they actually have the ability and reveal positive things that have been done so far. For that we need an intervention that must be carried out by patients with low self-esteem. One form of intervention is to provide implementation strategies (SP) for patients with Situational Low Self-Esteem. Objective: To apply nursing care comprehensively to patients with Situational low selfesteem. Methods: Describe nursing care in a comprehensive manner of patients with situational low self-esteem. Results: Results: on patients head to toe, starting from assessment, nursing diagnoses with the main problem of situational low self-esteem, nursing interventions and implementation were carried out based on journal reviews, namely giving positive affirmation therapy to control negative thought distortions so as to help patients feel calmer, comfortable and increases self-confidence and reduces negative thoughts, the evaluation results show an increase in self-confidence so that situational low self-esteem can be overcome.
