Abstract

Fusarium wilt is a symptom of plants that are not fresh or plants that are not in normal condition. Fusarium wilt disease can cause crop failure. Fusarium wilt can attack at any time, both during the dry season and during the rainy season. Due to the presence of fusarium wilt disease that attacks chili plants can result in losses and crop failures of up to 50%. The purpose of this study was to determine the best effective dose of Trichoderma sp. to control F. oxysporum wilt disease in red chili. This research was conducted at the research experimental field of the North Indralaya Plant Pests and Diseases Service, South Sumatra from August to November 2022. The results of this study indicate that the control of fusarium wilt in red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) plants using Trichoderma sp. compost. in this study gave a significant effect on the growth of red chili, especially in the P3 treatment with the incubation period of Trichoderma sp. compost. for 15 days gave very good results because of the attack on the treatment. However, the cultivation of Trichoderma sp. mushroom is still not implemented. And for people who don't know the benefits of Trichoderma sp. need counseling about the benefits of the fungus Trichoderma sp.
