Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik dan anorganik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit padi varietas Ciherang di persemaian tanah lebak. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Februari 2012 sampai April 2012 di Rumah Kaca Jurusan Budidaya Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tujuh perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari (Po) tanpa pemupukan, (Pi) pupuk kompos 15 % , (P2) pupuk kompos 20 %, (P3) pupuk kotoran ayam 15 %, (P4) pupuk kotoran ayam 20 %, (P5) pupuk N, P dan K : 10 g/m2, dan (P6) pupuk N, P dan K : 20 g/m2. Contoh tanah yang digunakan adalah tanah lebak yang diambil dan tanjung putus, Indralaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemupukan berpengaruh terhadap peubah tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, berat kering akar dan berat kering tajuk, akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap luas daun dan keseragaman tumbuh.
