Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of village funds, special allocation funds, and capital expenditures on regional inequality on the island of Sumatra. The data used in this study is panel data from 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra in the 2015-2021 time frame. The analysis technique used is a linear regression analysis technique with multiple panel data with the Random Effect Model (REM) approach method. The results of this study show that simultaneously the variables of village funds, special allocation funds, and capital expenditures together affect regional inequality on the island of Sumatra. Partially there are two variables that affect regional inequality, namely the special allocation fund variable and the capital expenditure variable, while the village fund variable does not have a significant effect on regional inequality on the island of Sumatra.
