Abstract
This study aims to describe the ability of students' mathematical representation in the material of buying and selling linear one variable after applying the Collaborative Problem Solving learning model. This type of research is descriptive research. The research procedures carried out consisted of the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the data analysis stage. Data collection techniques used are tests and interviews. This research was conducted at North Indralaya 6 Public Middle School. The subject of this study was class VII.1 in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 16 students. From the results obtained, it can be said that the mathematical representation ability of class VII.1 students of SMP Negeri 6 Indralaya Utara in the material of one variable linear equation (PLSV) is in the moderate category with an average value of 59.687. The indicator of mathematical representation ability that appears most often to students is the indicator of visual representation while the indicator that appears least often to students is the indicator of verbal representation.
