Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan obat, bagian yang digunakan dan cara pemanfaatannya oleh Suku Lematang Eks Marga Tambelang Ujan Mas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dengan teknik purposive samling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi struktural yang berpedoman pada tujuan penelitian, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat tradisional didapatkan 45 jenis tumbuhan yang tergolong dalam 25 suku tumbuhan. Bagian tumbuhan yang peling banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai obat adalah organ daun sebanyak 20 jenis tumbuhan (38,29%), rimpang sebanyak 6 jenis tumbuhan (12,76%), buah sebanyak 5 jenis tumbuhan (10,63%), umbi sebanyak 4 jenis tumbuhan (8,51%), bunga sebanyak 4 jenis tumbuhan (8,51%), seluruh bagian tumbuhan ada 4 jenis tumbuhan (8,51%), getah sebanyak 3 jenis tumbuhan (6,38%), akar sebanyak 2 jenis tumbuhan (4,25%) dan batang sebanyak 1 jenis tumbuhan (2,12%). Ramuan yang digunakan sebanyak 57 jenis ramuan bermanfaat mengobati 38 macam penyakit.
