Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance on Firm Value. Using a panel data, this study examines the effect of good corporate governance indicators such as institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board of directors, independent board of commissioners, and audit committee on price to book value (PBV) as the proxy of firm value. The data is collected from Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) from period of 2011-2019. Total of 26 companies are obtained through purposive sampling. The results of the study show that institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and independent board of commissioners have a positive and significant effect on firm value. However, board of directors and audit committee are found to have no significant effect on firm value
