Abstract

This study aims to develop an archiving application at PT Terang Jaya Abadi, especially in managing incoming and outgoing mail data, in order to make it easier for employees to manage archives and make it easier to search for old mail data, as well as facilitate the reporting process. The research method used is the method of observation and interviews in order to obtain information about the problems and needs of the system to be built, as well as using the waterfall system development method. The results of this study are in the form of an application that can be used to make it easier to manage incoming and outgoing mail data, so that it can simplify the process of searching for old mail data and at the same time simplify the reporting process. The test results using the black box method show that the design and application of the applications built are in accordance with the expected system requirements.
