Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan desain petak sawah di lahan rawa lebak pematang untuk pembudidayaan padi-ikan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di daerah Irigasi Ogan Keramasan Kecamatan Pemulutan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan pada Februari sampai dengan Mei 2014. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif berupa pengumpulan data dengan observasi langsung di lapangan dan pengumpulan data-data dari instansi terkait. Neraca air dan dimensi kolam air didapatkan dengan perhitungan matematik selanjutnya neraca air hasil perhitungan matematik akan dibandingkan dengan neraca air hasil pengukuran di lapangan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu curah hujan efektif, tinggi muka air tanah, kebutuhan air tanaman, infiltrasi, perkolasi, evaporasi, dimensi kolam air dan ukuran petak sawah. Volume tampungan kolam maksimum yang diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air irigasi bagi tanaman padi dan sebagai tempat memelihara ikan adalah sebesar 44,2 m3/bulan sehingga didapatkan desain petak sawah dengan dimensi kolam yaitu panjang kolam 18,48 m, lebar 2,4 m dan kedalaman 1 m.
