Abstract

Adequate sanitation facilities and meeting health standards are very important in improving health status, offices in the city of Kayuagung have a short distance from one office to another so that it becomes a place of activity and gathering of people who are at risk of spreading the corona virus disease (covid). -19). The purpose of this study was to analyze environmental sanitation facilities during the COVID 19 pandemic in the city of Kayuagung. This study uses a qualitative method that is descriptive in nature. Data collection uses observation with a checklist and in-depth interviews. Data validation uses source triangulation, method triangulation and data triangulation. The results showed that the clean water supply facilities in the Kayuagung city office were good, but the toilet facilities were still found to be in unsanitary conditions, with stagnant water and mosquito larvae. In the SPAL, used hand washing flows into the river. The waste disposal facility is not equipped with a cover and is not separated between organic and inorganic waste, the hand washing facility does not have soap, the implementation of the COVID-19 prevention protocol has not been fully implemented because researchers saw that they did not maintain physical distance, did not use hand sanitizer and did not check body temperature . The conclusion of this study is that the sanitation facilities and health protocols for preventing COVID-19 in all offices in the studied city of Kayuagung have not been fully implemented.
