Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) Analyze the factors that affect farm production of maize in the village of Negeri Ratu Baru Subdistrict of Bunga Mayang of Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, 2) to analyze the level of efficiency of farm production of maize in the village of Negeri Ratu Baru Subdistrict Bunga Mayang of Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, 3) Count of the farming corn in the village Negeri Ratu Baru Subdistrict Bunga Mayang of Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. This research was conducted at Desa Ratu Baru District of Bunga Mayang of Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency.. Data collection in this research area has been done in June to July 2017. The research method is survey method. The method of this survey was conducted by examining 32 sample farmers doing corn farming. Sampling method that will be used in this research is simple random sampling (Simple Random Sampling). The data collected in the form of primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the factors of production that significantly affect the production of corn farming are seed, and urea fertilizer, while the factors of production that do not have an effect on corn production are land, phonska fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer, pesticide, and labor. Production factors that are not efficient and need to be added are seed, phonska fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer, pesticide, and labor, while the inefficient production factor and the need to reduce its use in order to obtain maximum benefit are urea fertilizer. The average income of farmers who do corn farming is Rp 46.482.032,37 per hectare per year.
