Abstract

Non-endophytic microorganisms are microorganisms that are present and found on the outside of organs and outside plant cell tissues before entering into tissue cells. In general, there are several types of bacteria in healthy plant roots, such as antagonistic bacteria Bacillus subtilis, Pseudumonas fluorescens, Serratia, and Streptomyces sp. Various types of fungus Ceratocystis sp. At present it has become quite a serious threat to forestry plants, especially to the types of Acacia and Eucalyptus, Ceratocystis causes stem rot disease whose presence is always accompanied by injuries, both natural and artificial injuries caused by insects as a vector for the spread of Ceratocystis. This research was conducted from June 2022 to December 2022. A survey was conducted in four districts in South Sumatra, namely Ogan Ilir Regency, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Musi Banyuasin Regency and Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Sampling was carried out using the method (purposive random sampling). Isolation was carried out in the Phytopathology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replications. The results showed that isolates in Ogan Komering Ilir district had the lowest inhibition level with a value of 1.01 a and isolates in Ogan Komering Ulu district had the highest inhibition level with a value of 1.54 b.
