Abstract

The Online classes have become an alternative solution proposed by the govern-ment since the Covid-19 pandemic. The learning method by paying attention to activities on the screen causes some problems. The problems are about student at-tendance and their attention to the class. Another problem is the presence of for-eigners who interfere with learning activities which is also a serious problem. The proposed solution is to implement face identification as a method of attendance. The proposed method is Oriented Fast and Rotated BRIEF (ORB) which is known for its execution time. Using K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) as the classifica-tion method, the best results on this study are 96,86 % on accuracy, 1,047 sec in execution time, and 0,003 img/s on extraction time
