Abstract

One of the agricultural commodities in Musi Banyuasin which has the potential to downstream but has not been developed optimally is the Gambir plan downstream. The only area in Musi Banyuasin that produces Gambir is the Babat Toman District. In Musi Banyuasin Regency, apart from taking the dried sap, Gambir is also used as a dye for Musi Banyuasin jumputan cloth, known as Gambo Muba. The use of management principles in an agricultural enterprise is evaluated to ensure that agribusiness activities achieve their objectives. The purpose of this study was to learn the process of cultivating Gambir, processing Gambir into dye and the process of dyeing cloth using Gambir. Besides that, it is also to evaluate agribusiness management and develop strategies for the development of Gambo Muba jumputan cloth with Gambir coloring in Musi Banyuasin. The research method used is purposive sampling, namely purposive sampling and the research approach technique is carried out by Expert Judgment. The data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. The analytical method uses the Delphi method. The results of this study indicate that Gambo Muba jumputan cloth with the Gambir dye agribusiness development system in Toman Village, Musi Regency obtained a percentage of 86.58% which is included in the very important criteria. One of the important factors that must be considered in the development of agribusiness of Gambo Muba jumputan cloth with Gambir dye in Musi Banyuasin are input, production, input, and market criteria factors. As for the priority in the agribusiness development of Gambo Muba jumputan cloth with Gambir coloring in Toman village, Musi Banyuasin Regency are market criteria.
