Abstract
This research is entitled "PT Medco E&P Indonesia's Public Relations Strategy in implementing community development programs for communities exposed to the impact of Covid-19". This research was motivated by the outbreak of a virus called Covid-19 which hampered a program implemented by PT Medco E&P Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to find out how PT Medco E&P Indonesia's Public Relations Strategy is in compiling, implementing and supporting community development programs for people exposed to the impact of Covid-19. Using the Public Relations Strategy theory put forward by Ronald D Smith and using qualitative research methods in the form of data collection through interviews, documentation and observation of informants related to this research. This study describes the understanding related to the notion of community development and indicators in Ronald D Smith's theory. The results showed that PT Medco in carrying out the Community Development program carried out an identification orientation analysis before compiling the program. Carry out Community Development programs while still paying attention to health protocols. As well as evaluating the programs that have been implemented or not implemented.
