Abstract

Mangrove Munjang merupakan kawasan objek wisata terdapat di Kurau Barat yang memiliki luas 30 ha dan sudah berhasil dikelola masyarakat setempat dari luas total sekitar 213 ha ditetapkan sebagai destinasi wisata pada tanggal 27 Juli 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi persepsi masyarakat dan menganalisa hubungannya dengan tingkat pendidikan dan tingkat ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap keberadaan objek wisata mangrove Munjang Kurau Barat, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Metode penelitian deskriptif dengan analisis uji chi kuadrat dan inferensial dengan validasi uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil persepsi menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat yang berpersepsi positif 33% dan negatif 38% terhadap keberadaan objek wisata mangrove Munjang Kurau Barat Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Masyarakat berpersepsi positif terhadap tingkat ketergantungan dan tingkat Pendidikan dengan validasi nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Keywords: Inferensial, Korelasi Pearson, Mangrove, Uji Chi Kuadrat The Munjang Mangrove is a tourist attraction area located in West Kurau which has an area of 30 ha and has been successfully managed by the local community with a total area of around 213 ha and was designated as a tourist destination on July 27 2018. The purpose of this research is to identify community perceptions and analyze its relationship with education level and the level of community dependence on the existence of the Munjang West Kurau mangrove tourism object, Central Bangka Regency. Descriptive research method with chi square analysis and inferential analysis with Pearson correlation test validation. The results of the perception showed that 33% of the people had a positive and 38% negative perception of the existence of the Munjang West Barat mangrove tourism object, Central Bangka Regency. The community has a positive perception of the level of dependency and the level of education with a validation value of significance <0,05.
