Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain optimum results at various doses of NASA liquid organic fertilizer and cow manure on the growth and production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). This research was conducted in Kertapati District, Palembang, South Sumatra. From September to October 2022. This research method used a Least Significant Difference (LSD), consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor was cow manure which consisted of 4 levels, and the second factor, was Nasa liquid organic fertilizer which consisted of 3 levels. With 3 replications, each replicate has 3 plants. So there are 108 treatment units. These treatments were: Factor I: Cow manure (S), S0 = Control, S1 = Cow manure 300 g/polybag, S2 = Cow manure 600 g/polybag, S3 = Cow manure 900 gr/polybag. The second factor was Nasa Liquid Organic Fertilizer (N), N1 = Nasa liquid organic fertilizer 2 ml/liter, N2 = Nasa liquid organic fertilizer 4 ml/liter, N3 = Nasa liquid organic fertilizer 6 ml/liter. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA). If there is a significant difference, then proceed with the 5% LSD test. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of leaves, dry weight of leaves, degree of greenness of leaves, fresh weight of stems, dry weight of stems, root length, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of roots. The results of the analysis of diversity showed that the cow manure treatment factor had a significant effect on the variables of plant height at 28 HST, leaf area, leaf dry weight, fresh stem weight. and very significant effect on the variables of plant height 21 HST, number of leaves 28 HST, fresh weight of leaves. However, the Nasa liquid organic fertilizer treatment showed that it had no significant effect on all variables except plant height 7 DAP, which had a very significant effect.
