Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of the Belitung Regency Tourism Office in Supporting Tanjung Kelayang as an International Tourist Destination. Tourism is one sector that has quite a lot of demand, and in order to increase economic growth, and create jobs. Researchers used qualitative research methods in the form of observations and interviews using the concept of multitrack diplomacy. In this study, researchers saw not only track one and track two but there was an extension to track nine. From the interviews, the researchers also found that there are 3 tracks that play an important role in the success of the strategy in supporting Tanjung Kelayang as an International Tourist Destination. The government, professional elites, and media communications, these tracks do have their respective functions and roles in implementing the strategies that have been made, but still the three tracks cannot run alone, a collaboration is needed in each track to support Tanjung Kelayang as an International Tourist Destination.
