Abstract

This research is a type of design research for development research using the ADDIE model, and in the implementation and evaluation stages, it follows Tessmer's formative evaluation flow. This study aims to produce worksheet based on mathematical modeling of geometric sequence pattern material in the context of energy conversion, which is valid, practical, and has the potential to influence students' mathematical perceptions and modeling abilities. Data collection techniques consisted of walkthroughs, observations, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The analysis of observations and interviews was carried out descriptively by observing the difficulties and findings from the process of working on student worksheets. A walk-through analysis was carried out by analyzing descriptively, namely revising based on the validator's notes. After learning, tests were performed to determine the potential impact on the developed worksheet mathematical modeling abilities. The questionnaire is used to assess students' attitudes toward mathematics. The results of the study show that the resulting worksheet is valid, practical, and has the potential to influence students' mathematical modeling abilities. The percentage of scores at the time of the evaluation test showed that 40.62% were in the "very good" category, 46.87% were in the "high" category, and 13% were in the "sufficient" category. worksheet also produces students' perceptions of mathematics in a good category.
