Abstract

Edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is a multipurpose leguminous plant for various types of needs both for food and feed. In general, agricultural land will experience a decrease in soil fertility as a result of intensive land use, continuous use of inorganic fertilizers and an impact on decreasing productivity in producing agricultural products. The solution to overcome the decline in soil fertility requires good handling technology, the condition of soil fertility which has decreased due to the continuous use of inorganic fertilizers, in this study an experiment was carried out to reduce the dose of inorganic fertilizers such as N, P, K and to start applying organic fertilizers such as compost and biological fertilizers which are expected to obtain higher production results as good or even better than using a single dose of N, P, K fertilizer in full dose. The objective of this research was to determine the differences in the effectiveness of Agrimeth biofertilizer combined with N, P, K and compost fertilizers on soil N, N absorption, growth, plant yield and or economic and agronomic value. Data on the number of leaves and filled pod weight were analyzed using Completely Randomized Design analysis of variance. If the F-count is greater than the F-table 5% then an orthogonal contrast test is carried out. Analysis data of N-total soil, N absorption, soil C-organic and plant canopy weight were presented in tabular and descriptive. Treatment E (N, P, K fertilizer dose 75% + Agrimeth dose 100%) was better in increasing total N, C-soil organic, N absorption, number of leaves, dry plant crown weight and filled pod weight of edamame soybeans and the most agronomically and economically effective.
