Abstract

Revegetation is part of particular reclamation activities. Determining the type of vegetation and the fertility of the planting medium is one of the important things in revegetation. The Important Value Index (INP) shows the importance of a plant species and its role in the community. In determining the important value index can be done by using the system of analysis of the quadratic method. This study aims to determine the value of density, frequency, dominance, important value index and determine the level of vegetation on the reclamation land as well as the relationship between some physical and chemical properties of the soil and vegetation. This research was carried out from June to July 2022 in the reclamation area of ID 13 Tambang Air Laya PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra. The quadratic method uses multiple plots and field observations. The results of data collection found 18 types of plant species with the highest INP value, at tree and pole level, namely Cassia siamea Lamk 68,9% and INP of seedlings and saplings, namely Vitex pubescens Vahl 43.2%. Cassia siamea Lamk and Vitex pubescens Vah lwhich has an important role in the plant community in ID 13 Tambang Air Laya PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. And the relationship between the physical and chemical properties of the soil to vegetation has a significant relationship.
